Frequently asked questions

NOUN’s AI dubbing studio launches in February 2027. Until then, you can already generate production-ready dubbing scripts using NOUN.

Speech recognition covers 92 languages and translation covers 90, including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Hindi, Tamil, Swahili and many more.

Yes. Defaults follow broadcast-grade limits (42 characters per line, 2 lines, 0.833 s minimum and 7 s maximum duration), and every limit can be changed per project.

No. Both studios run in the browser. Large videos can have their audio extracted locally so only a small audio file is uploaded.

Coordinators share a project with chosen linguists, who can edit and export but cannot upload media or run AI actions. Unticking a person removes access immediately.

Administrators set a pool of minutes per user, shared by transcription and translation, enforced on the server. Every charge and refund is recorded in an audit trail.
